Preschool teacher, Founder & Director
I’m Joanna Segerström, a preschool teacher from Sweden with a Degree in Early Childhood Education and a former Nanny Educator. I am also the proud founder of The Swedish Nanny Company.
Needless to say, I’m very passionate about child development and early learning! As a trained pre-school teacher I have had the advantage of studying Child Development Theory at University level. But what’s taught me the most about children are all the years I’ve spent working in pre-schools and as a Nanny Educator.
The first years of a child’s life are fundamentally important; they are the foundation that shapes children’s future health, happiness and development. So, imagine being a part of that foundation and actually being able to make a difference for the child. Well, I want to make that difference. High quality childcare matters to me, and it certainly matters to our children! That’s why The Swedish Nanny Company is so much more than just a business – it’s a way of making a difference.
